Lastly the Catholic social teaching discusses stewardship which emerges from bible verses in the website Caritas the explanation given of stewardship is “exercising stewardship is caring for the gifts that God has given to us including the environment our own personal talents and other resources we are kaitiaki guardians of the earth the integrity of the ecosystems which make up the earth is vital for our survival and for the well-being of future generations everything in creation is given for all people understanding our interdependence with all living creatures we should use God’s gifts responsibly to meet the needs of everyone now and in the future.” This is founded on firm scriptural foundations such as Genesis 1:31 Genesis 2:15 Job 12:7-10 in the website Bible Study Tools there is a quote from the bible that shows the main point of stewardship

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”-- Colossians 3:23

this shows that God is not willing to see us use this technology to obey human masters instead of God who wants human beings to care for the gifts that God has given to us including the environment using our own personal talents and other resources in my opinion God wants human beings to focus on what He has given to us but not keep looking for new technology which benefits human masters while being disobedient to God's will.
